Week-09 ~ Green Economy

Assalamualaikum everyone. I welcome you all to my new blog. Today my topic is  Green Economy. We have discussed this in our class and I will be writing my blog about this today.

Firstly, the green economy is an economy that reduces environmental risk and ecological scarcities. We are the human being of nature and we take benefits from the environment. It is our responsibility to take care of nature. We need to fix that our actions don’t cause harm to the environment. We need to keep our surface green so that it keeps the world healthy and happy.

Moreover, even if we create any industry or factories, it is our responsibility to ensure that any gases produced from the factories don’t harm nature. It should be maintained wisely and that gases need to be recycled and maintained properly.

Green stickers and ecolabel practices have emerged as consumer-facing indicators of friendliness to the environment and sustainable development. Many industries are starting to adopt these standards as a way to promote their greening practices in a globalizing economy. Also known as sustainability standards, these standards are special rules that guarantee that

the products you buy don’t hurt the environment and the people who make them. The number of these standards has grown recently and they can now help build a new, greener economy.

For our next generation and our own betterment, it is highly appreciated to keep our world green and clean so that our nature never forget us to give.

Since, industrial revolution factories, power plants, fossil fuel from cars like oil release carbon dioxide and many gases into the atmosphere and is harming the earth gradually. Another challenge is overpopulation. The population of the earth is getting unsustainable. The earth now is facing a shortage of resources like water, food, etc. T...

There are many hadith and sunnah mentioned in Islam for sustainable development.                                “Do not cause corruption on the earth” (2.12) Allah does not like corrupters. Corruption is forbidden (haram) in Islamic teaching. Again, as Muslims, we need to follow these lessons from our messengers. Therefore, we are living in a polluted environment which is totally man mane. It is now causing air pollution, sound pollution, water pollution and ultimately turns into human disease. That ends up breathing in a sick environment. Economic growth needs to be environmentally sustainable. Economic activity threatens the environment, and this is why the situation is worsening day by day. We need  solutions now to protect the planet. But we need to guarantee a sustainable economy for future generations...
