Week 1: Sustainability: The business and the society relationship

Assalamualaikum everyone, welcome to my blog ^_^ . My name is Mostofa Mohsin and i am a 2nd year student of International Islamic University of Malaysia and currently I am studying BBA. This is my fourth semester and I am doing online class from my home country with Prof. Dr Suhaimi and from his lecture what I learn will update weekly. So please stay with me guys and enjoy my blogs :)

We need take care of our environment otherwise nature will not look after us. From our lecturer I get to know about sustainability and I also have a better understanding of Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). It is mainly designed for protect our future and it is collection of 17 interlinks global goals to achieve a brighter and better future.

Business is very important to live but from this lecture we get to know that environment is more important for future. May be we get a huge profit from business if u aside sustainability but we need to think about our children's future. What we are going to give them ? A terrible world ? So we need to think about that.

Sustainability in business is more an opportunity than a threat. We need to make people understand this thing. So that our future generation grow in a green and natural world. That's all for now guys. In sha Allah my reflection of every week will come in my blog. Thank you all.

Week- 07-Environmental Challenges

Assalamualaikum everyone. Welcome to my other blog. We have read about environmental challenges in our class and yes, today I will talk about environmental challenges that we used to face while living life. Firstly, I will talk about Global warming m The consistent rise of the temperature of the earth is called global warming. It is one of the biggest challenges that we are facing. For 25 million years the earth’s climate is fluctuating, cycling to ice ages from warm appearance. Assalamualaikum my fellow mates and readers. I welcome you all to my other blog. In this new blog, I will discuss Islamic views regarding sustainable development. In Islam is has been ordered to take care of our nature and environment. Since we take lots of benefits from the environment, it is our responsibility to nurture our surroundings and keep them healthy and heal them as much as possible. There are many hadith and sunnah mentioned in Islam for sustainable development. “Do not cause corruption on the earth” (2.12) Allah does not like corrupters. Week 2: Balancing Ecology and Economics

Assalamualaikum, welcome to my blog about ‘Balancing Ecology and Economic’. Now a days economy is flourishing very rapidly worldwide. However, the world is encountering its disadvantages at a same time. Moreover, the stakeholders are only focusing on profit rather environmental destructions which is eventually drowning them in to darkness. Mushrooming of hundreds and thousands factories show the growth of economy of a country but eventually it is harming the ecological balance around us. Therefore, we are living in a polluted environment which is totally man mane. It is now causing air pollution, sound pollution, water pollution and ultimately turns into human disease. That ends up breathing in a sick environment. Economic growth needs to be environmentally sustainable. Economic activity threatens the environment, and this is why the situation is worsening day by day. We need solutions now to protect the planet. But we need to guarantee a sustainable economy for future generations...
